Hurts

The elegant British duo “hurt” is expected to air both the most well-known compositions of the latest, now fifth album “faith” and the rich pleadiness of previous hits - wonderful life, better than love, Stay, Sunday, bloody, tears & Goldas, Illuminated, miracle, Somebody to die for, Blind, surrender, Some Kind of haven, Nothing will be bigger than us, wings, Rolling stone, wish, ready to tiful.

The material on the album “faith” dates back to the challenging time of COVID-19, and this pandemic was also the reason it still failed to implement a concert tour scheduled for 2021.
In an interview with THE PUBLICATION, NME group soloist Theo Hutchkraft says of “faith”: “We wanted to get back to being substantive, to what we do and who we are.” We had to fall in love with the style of music we originally planned to create. We've always been tempted by the darker elements of pop music. This is an extraordinary time for its [album] release, but also good at the same time because there's a message in the songs that gives hope. It's about being able to change and deal with these things. Hopefully people will find it in it '.

It is recalled that the duet “Hurth” was founded in Manchester in 2009 by vocalist Theo Hutchkraft and multi-instrumentalist Adams Andersoni. The band's business card has become an elegant, slightly estranged style of dressing, gorgeous, rather 80 s-like tunes than contemporary ones, a frequently dismal but intriguing textual feel brightened by a vocal piercing with pain and despair. Nor can the importance of the elegant videos, often characterized by punchy surprising twists, be denied.

“Hurts” gained recognition immediately with its debut album, “Happiness,” released in 2010. Six singles from just one disc passed at the top of various European charts. The album earned Golden status in Britain and Austria and Platinum in Germany, bringing the total to at least the first tenner in the hit parades of 12 European countries. Of which Latvia ranks 2 nd.
With upcoming albums, “Exile” (2013, “SURRENDER” (2015) and “Desire” (2017), the association continued to cement its positions in the Olympus of pop music.

Sigulda. Castle ruins. Sunset. And Hurth. Really, what can be more romantic than this?!
