The artist is known to the general public for his sensational TikTok hit "I like the way you kiss me", which saw the light of day in March this year and quickly conquered the European charts, reaching the number 1 position here in Latvia.

The 24-year-old Artemas, full name Artemas Diamandis, only started releasing his music in late 2020, but has already rapidly developed a distinctive alternative pop sound thanks to his catchy lyrics and memorable melodies.

Self-taught on several instruments, Artemas is not shy about being a pop music fan and a member of the YouTube generation.

Artemas grew up in Oxfordshire and now lives in London. During the pandemic, he made the most of the restrictions imposed and spent most waking hours in his bedroom studio, honing his music production skills.

Since May 2023, Artemas has been independently releasing new songs every month, building relationships with its audience online and focusing on building its fan base. His latest single "Cross My Heart" reached 500,000 listens in 24 hours and more than 20,000 TikTok videos were created with it in the first week. Another infectious single "if you think I'm pretty" was hugely popular on social media and topped both the Billboard and OCC (Official Charts Company) charts. Artem's music has now been streamed well over 100 million times across all platforms.

His early works have been supported by global music industry giants such as BBC Radio 1, Apple Music and Spotify. Most recently, Artemas was the sole support act at the massive Rex Orange County concert in London's Gaithersbury Park, and he has performed at a number of festivals including Radio 1's Big Weekend, Reading and Leeds, Latitude and more.

Artem's highly anticipated collection of songs called 'pretty' was released in February this year alongside two London concerts that sold out in less than 20 minutes. This was followed by a bigger tour this summer, during which the musician will also perform in Riga.
